Earlier this month we reported that Google's Tablet is expected to be unveiled in October and will be known as the Google Nexus 7. Now more details about the tablet , which will be made by Asus , have appeared online.
Australian website Gizmondo have viewed a document detailing the specification of the Google Nexus 7. As the name suggests the Google Nexus 7 is a 7 inch tablet which will run on Android Jelly Bean.
Android Jelly Bean is set to launch in October , which is around the time we expect the Nexus 7 to launch. Therefore, we're expecting the tablet to be one of the first devices to run the new version of Google's operating system.
The Google Nexus 7's touch-screen is thought to be an IPS display which will run at a resolution of 1280*800 pixels. The tablet will be powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad-core processor, which will work in combination with 1GB of RAM.
You'll be able to choose between 8GB or 16GB of on-board memory with the prices expected to come in around £100 and £160. Other features of the Nexus 7 include support for NFC as well as a 1.2 mega-pixel camera for video calling.
