Google are expected to unveil their first tablet this month which is rumoured to be produced by manufacturer Asus. Now new information spotted online suggests the tablet could be called the Google Nexus 7.
Images apparently taken on the Asus Nexus 7 appeared on Picasco which were taken inside Google's Building 44 in California. The pictures were listed as being taken on a Nexus 7 which was manufactured by Asus , which suggest the tablet will be called the Google Nexus 7 or perhaps even the Asus Nexus 7.
Google have been rumoured to be working on a tablet for quite some time after their move into smartphones proved pretty successful. Previous leaks have suggested that the Google Nexus 7 will have a 7 inch touch-screen, quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1GB of RAM.
Google's new version of Android is expected to launch before the end of 2012, but all the rumours we've heard about the Google Tablet suggest it'll launch running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Hopefully, it'll still be upgradable to Jelly Bean if this does prove the case.
